Dancing In The Rain!

celebrate, dance

What’s in a 5 1/2 inch tall, round blue box that has a picture of a little girl in a yellow dress, holding an umbrella?  Here’s a clue: The Bible says we “are the ___ of the earth.” Congratulations if you got the first part right. Now, the second part: What’s the motto on the box? Need another clue? “When it _____, it _____.”

You get an A + (that is, if you said salt is in the box and the motto is “when it rains, it pours.”)  If you got half of the answers correct, I’ll grade on the curve, and you get a B-. If you didn’t get any right, you are probably under age 30.

When it rains, it pours, and it has done exactly that in South Carolina for weeks. Lots of bad hair days. But…

God reigns. And pours. He has not just sprinkled His kindness on me – He has opened the Heavens and drenched me. I had no idea the sales of my book I WILL NEVER would take off as they have.  Probably, by the end of the week, AMAZON will be shipping out the “new and improved” paperback. (SO appreciate those kind reviews on Amazon! Keep ‘em coming!)

Come dance with me ‘cause Tuesday, July 9th I’m rolling out, in honor of my “dance partners,” a FREE KINDLE DOWNLOAD – you and the whole world get to download I WILL NEVER.  Tell everyone you know.  Strangers, too.

You “Kindleizers”, go for it! Remember, from Midnight until 11:59 p.m., PACIFIC TIME is Kindle time. FREE.

Excuse me while I run outside. Since God has blessed the socks off of me through you, I’m going to dance in the rain – just like the little girl on the Morton Salt box. I’m sure God won’t mind if I don’t use an umbrella or wear a yellow dress because I’m doing a dance of praise!   You can “cut in” here, and we’ll dance together in His reign.

  3. Thanks for a great book!! I cried thru the whole book. You are an amazing woman with an amazing family. I lost my son Thomas in 2000 from a fall out of the bed of a pickup truck at school. He lived for 3 days and was pronounced brain dead on the third day. We took him off life support and let him go to heaven. I have always wondered why God did not let Tommy live and let me take care of him. I would have done anything for my son. After reading your book, I now have my answer. I have since apologized to God for thinking I knew what was best. I really was able to put myself in your shoes. There were times I yelled at the nurses and doctors because I thought they were not doing what I thought was best. They said he needed complete silence from us so his brain could rest. If we spoke to him, they said he would react to our voice and then his brain would swell. I almost died right then and there. I could not risk that! I prayed to God that He would talk to Tommy for me. We never know how strong our faith and trust is. Thank you for a beautiful account of something so tragic. God Bless you and your family.
