  1. My heart broke for you and your family as I listened to your story on Focus on the Family. I am a mom of 4 and cannot imagine the pain you suffered while watching a sweet child of yours endure so much in his short lifetime. I pray that your story will reach out to those who are going through similar things and help them endure and have hope! We live in Spartanburg, sc and I was suprized to find out you live in SC also. Be Blessed!

    • Thank you, Regina, for writing. May God give you grace as your raise your 4! What an awesome privilege!
God has used the story more than we could imagine….thank you so much for writing. love, jane bateman

  2. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony! If you can praise God and say He is good so can any of us mere mortals! God bless you and your loved ones!

  3. I heard this broadcast years ago and recorded in on cassette. Of course that cassette has disappeared and is obsolete, but often the words of it lingered in my mind and heart. As a mother of four, one with emotional difficulties, Jane’s story has even more depth. I’m so glad that it’s been re-aired and has been put into a book, that just might be my birthday present to myself. I’ve faced several “I will Never” moments and I’m so thankful that God is with us through them.

    • Wow, Beth, that was a long time ago if you recorded the story on a cassette tape! Thank you so much for sticking with me all these years. I do so hope you get the book I WILL NEVER ( b/c it details more or our journey. Bless you as you care for your children and esp the one w/ emotional issues. Thank you for writing. love, jane bateman
